Food ensemble is a show of music and cusine, a sensory experience to be lived like a concert, a show to be enjoyed like a dinner.
What Food Ensemble represents is currently something very special and pioneering on the sound and culinary scene. We could call it a show that is born from the kitchen and transfused into sounds, creating an ensemble that offers those present an inimitable experience of its kind. It is in the live performances that Food Ensemble manages to bring to life its true soul and philosophy: that of fusing, literally, gourmet cuisine and refined electronic music. Francesco Sarcone a.k.a. Sarc:o (musician), Andrea Reverberi (chef) and Marco Chiussi (sous chef and sommelier) form the trio of this incredible show.
During the performances, the Food Ensemble audience sits at a table, witnessing a stage with an open kitchen, a mixer and some musical instruments. The cooks begin to prepare, microphones are placed in front of their hands and amplify the sounds of chopping different ingredients to prepare a dish.
At the same time, the ingredients are transformed before the audience’s eyes and become the dishes that are then served to the spectators, while the melody reaches its sonic fullness, accompanying those present as they enjoy the dish and creating a truly multi-sensory experience. Every dish a musical theme, every dinner a concert. A spectacle of show cooking and live music.
