Visual Art | Pleid St. is an independent, creative CGI studio based in downtown Madrid. Founded and Directed by Juanma Mota from 2016. Since Juanma moved from Lanzarote, he has developed his career in different studios as well as a freelancer till founding Pleid St., the studio where he has established a totally recognizable style and sensibility on art direction, design and production. In 2019, Noemí Álvarez became part of the team as Project Manager, she has more than 12 years of experience working in creative agencies, reinforcing the strategic, creative and customer service aspects of the business.
Pleid St. is inspired by real life, objects, nature, current culture or any other input from art, music or even tech. Its computer-generated imagery is at the intersection of synthetics and reality, combining visuals that almost seem impossible into a contemporary aesthetic. Still life or animations, no matter, the most important thing is to create high-quality pieces based on Pleid’s expertise and, when necessary, the best talented collaborators all around the world. Pleid is always searching for challenges to experiment with while keeping an inquisitive eye on new trends in order to craft fresh ideas and improve its imagery.
Garden Project by Pleid St
GardenGarden is Chapter 1 of 3 of the very first project that Pleid St. has developed for Vlisco, a Dutch company with more than 170 years of experience in the manufacture of premium textiles based on original African-inspired designs.
L’obiettivo del progetto è mostrare la maestosità e la varietà dei disegni dei tessuti in ambiente naturale con tocchi magici e inaspettati. Tessuti che fluttuano, si muovono. Creando coreografie ipnotiche che interagiscono in un fantastico giardino di cui sono le protagoniste.
Libertà, creatività e un lavoro di collaborazione con il team Vlisco, oltre a una squadra di talento, hanno dato vita a pezzi innovativi, eleganti, pieni di ritmo e di armonici dettagli, che rendono il tutto unico e spettacolare.
