Fashion Design | Several Italian schools have participated in the last event of Fashion Graduate Italia last October. A moment of maximum visibility for the most deserving students, a catwalk on which to emerge and show their creations. The key themes: innovation, tradition and sustainability, but also inclusion and identity.

What is Fashion Graduate?
The first Fashion Week (free) open to the public dedicated to the most deserving graduating and graduating students. A showcase of the Italian fashion training system that tells the present and imagines the future of Italian training in fashion.

The last edition took place over three days, from 24 to 26 October, and the proposal is increasingly rich in content and tools: fashion shows, exhibitions, talks, masterclasses, workshops and job placement.

18 schools of the Piattaforma Sistema Formativo Moda participated in the last edition Fashion Graduate Italia: IED – Istituto Europeo di Design, Accademia Euromediterranea Harim, AFOL Moda, Accademia di Belle Arti di Brera, Next Fashion School, Accademia della Moda IUAD, Istituto di Moda Burgo, Istituto Modartech, IAAD. Istituto d’Arte Applicata e Design, NABA, Nuova Accademia di Belle Arti, Arsutoria School, Cercal, Domus Academy, Ferrari Fashion School, Istituto Secoli, Istituto Marangoni e Accademia Costume & Moda.

The latest edition comes in a mixed physical and digital version and allowed schools to tell the story of their students' lives, passion and creation.

On 26 October, the last day, during the Domus Academy fashion show, Master in Fashion Design students Zih Ling and Louis Lanting presented two collections inspired by the PepsiCo brands, Pepsi MAX and Rockstar. The collections will be exhibited at several PepsiCo locations, including the Design Centre in New York.

On the catwalk the collections of the students, who had the opportunity to freely express their inspiration and the skills acquired during the training. Is this the springboard for a successful career?

Surely the 2021 edition had a more targeted and strategic objective to enhance young talents, introducing tools and content for entering the world of work. Two days of Job Speed Date, in collaboration with Umana and Confindustria Moda, but also a hub on the website of Fashion Graduate Italia and Artshread to give visibility to the portfolios of the best graduating and undergraduate students of the schools associated with the platform.
