Product Art | María Paula Alvarez and Diego Álvarez are the members of Colectivo Mangle, a Colombian art and design studio. Great master craftsmen, their work involves materials and tools typical of carpentry.
Through his works we perceive numerous and profound aesthetic, social and conceptual approaches. His constant goal is to modify the physical form of the raw material, that is, of the wood as it can be purchased in warehouses, sometimes transforming it into useful and functional objects, other times into pure sculptures.
Colectivo Mangle manages in all its trajectory to create its own language through wood, bringing it to the limit of its abilities as a raw material, endowing it with movement, harmony and spectacular shape, a technique that creates a stimulus of impact on the viewer.
His pieces are exclusive and in most cases we can find them exhibited especially in art galleries in different parts of the world.
