ROPA DE GENERO (RDG) is a Chilean designer brand led by Maria Eugenia Ibarra Letelier since 2006. RDG’s starting point is textile research with all its creative possibilities, focusing on the exploration of fiber volumes on the body.

The personal reinterpretation of fabric, through overlays, unions, inserts, collages, is the main characteristic of the brand and how it builds a unique story through its pieces.

​RDG values and respects the essence of materials and their relationship with nature. The creation process is a reflection of the artisan, local and craft. Materials include alpaca, wool, mohair, linen, and cotton in unexpected color combinations.

​RDG is a timeless brand with a very personal vision of the infinite possibilities of the textile universe. Transforming over time into a bridge of feminine energy that through deep research, knowledge and their hands create collections connecting the natural with the urban and the ancestral with the nowness.
