Art Event | 11, 12, 13, 14th May exhibition dedicated to outdoor design in Biblioteca degli Alberi !
With the participation of 9 leading companies: Artemide, De Castelli, Florim, JANUS et Cie, Lualdi, Poltrona Frau, Riva1920, Roda, Sesia&Co. with Boffi DePadova, BAM will highlight iconic pieces from their respective collections.
The installations will therefore interact in a new way with the surrounding space and the public, creating a sort of design museum spread among the trees of BAM that celebrates the combination of Nature and Culture.
As in the previous edition, there will also be numerous collateral activities to encourage contamination between design, art, cinema and music, through bucolic and informal talks and with special guests – With the academic contribution of Domus Academy.
Additional Activities to the Event:
- White Circle Talk – 11th May to 13th May
The White Circles that host the BAM Open Air Design installations will be enlivened by bucolic and informal talks moderated by Lorenzo Palmeri.
Exceptional guests from the worlds of design, art, cinema and music will take the floor in a pleasant repartee that the public can follow comfortably seated on cushions on the lawn, perhaps accompanied by a drink!
We look forward to seeing you from Wednesday 11 to Friday 13, starting at 6 p.m. See the programme on the website.
- BAM Workshop KIDS and Adults: Fondazione Achille Castiglioni – 14th May – 10:30 to 17:00
During the last day, we give space to two workshops with interactive activities conceived to bring adults and children closer to design.
You can choose between “BAM Workshop KIDS: To each his own chair” and “BAM Workshop ADULTS: Dal ready-made al design e viceversa” – In collaboration with Fondazione Achille Castiglioni.
- BAM Talk: Domus Academy 14th May – 18:00 to 19:00
The event closes with a talk by Domus Academy students and professors.
During the semester, the students of the Master in Product Design have designed outdoor furniture together with the exhibitors of the White Circle, conceiving a product inspired by their brands.
This experience led to a talk entirely dedicated to the innovative projects that the students proposed to the companies.
