Art – Photograpy<\/span> <\/span> | <\/span><\/span><\/strong>A collection of places, cultures, traditions and memories. Different from each other but united by the strong link and deep connection between the mainland, the sea, the various architectural typologies that characterize the houses and the morphology of the settlements themselves.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cArchipelago\u201d<\/strong> is a project born from the mind and heart of Corinna Del Bianco<\/strong>, architecture researcher and photographer. Conceived with the aim of documenting the typical diversity of the Mediterranean islands, focusing on all the archipelagos that cross and characterize it. And in particular in its inhabited islands. <\/span>From Pelagie in Tuscany to Egadi, to the Aeolian Islands. A long-term study, born in 2018 to emphasize the important theme of living, which has always been an integral part of Del Bianco's projects, combining everything related to travel with its landscape connotation and the cultural heritage of the places themselves.<\/span><\/p>\n

Heritage that is gradually being lost, leaving room only for the environmental factor understood as the beauty of the territory (and that unfortunately tends to homogenize each place) and tourism. But it deserves to be preserved and brought to light as a fundamental and integral part of the place itself. Composed of traditions, history, culture, life lived, changes and everything that, in a visible and invisible way, characterizes each country and place immortalized by the artist.<\/span><\/p>\n

\"Archipelago\", the exhibition born from the project, represents the photographer's journey through the wonderful islands of the Mediterranean. In a series of images, full of meaning, exhibited at the Italian Cultural Institute of Hamburg in Germany. An exhibition that began on December 21, 2021 and will end on February 28 <\/span>, 2022, created with the contribution of the institute itself and with the funds raised thanks to a crowdfunding campaign promoted specifically for this exhibition.<\/span><\/p>\n
