Jorge was born in Madrid in 1986 and, after a course of studies in the field of design, he graduated in Product Design in 2016, thus beginning his career made of contemporary shapes, lines and colors that open to a new vision of the present and the future.<\/span><\/p>\n

In his pieces shines through the designer's criticism of today's society, of waste and the management of resources. A criticism that for the artist becomes research, experimentation and exploration of sustainable materials and production techniques, which allow him to get to the soul of each element by understanding every little facet.<\/span><\/p>\n

The recycling, reuse and experimentation of materials as a means of environmental protection are part of a conscious choice, to participate in a necessary and fundamental change for the health of our planet.<\/span><\/p>\n

Jorge Velasco's collections are a meeting point between different cultures and references to past eras.<\/span><\/p>\n

His pieces reflect the inspiration of the Japanese style. Sinuous lines, simple and minimal as in his TX Bench project, where the absolute protagonist becomes the material, wood, worked and brought to its maximum expression and its structural limit.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

An elegant and functional product that leaves no doubt as to its use but does so by enveloping the observer in a veil of stories, techniques and past traditions.<\/span><\/p>\n
