Il suo focus e\u2019 la contaminazione fra diverse discipline con un\u2019attenzione particolare al rapporto umano-digitale; nel 2018 fonda\u00a0Spatial Matters<\/a>, un laboratorio di ricerca spaziale che mira a dare una struttura alla sua ricerca nei territori al confine fra uomo e robot.<\/span><\/p>\n

From the mixture of programming, physics and music comes his latest artistic project where experimentation with virtual simulations of particles and forces merges with the use of audio manipulation algorithms.<\/span><\/p>\n

He is currently working on sound-based design algorithms.<\/span><\/p>\n

Below we present one of his projects that he recently dedicated to Spain and Italy in this difficult time we are going through because of the current Pandemic.<\/span><\/p>\n

The design was generated from Chick Corea's song \u201cSpain\u201d. The sound frequencies, channeled through a tailor-made algorithm, become strings bent by invisible forces. This creates a visual representation of a soundscape.<\/span><\/p>\n

Nicola Lorusso is an architect and generative artist active in England and Italy. Its focus is the contamination between different disciplines with particular attention to the human-digital relationship; in 2018 he founded Spatial Matters, a space research laboratory that aims to give a structure to his research in the territories on the border between man and machine.
